Werkgevers mogen loonbelasting over aandelenoptierechten later betalen

Bent u werkgever en beloont u werkgevers voor een deel in aandelenoptierechten in plaats van salaris? Dan moet u nu loonbelasting betalen zodra de werknemer de rechten omzet in aandelen. Dit gaat veranderen. U mag kiezen wanneer u loonbelasting gaat betalen: zodra de optierechten worden omgezet in aandelen, of zodra de aandelen ook echt verhandeld kunnen worden. Dat kan handig zijn als uw bedrijf nog onvoldoende winst heeft om de loonlasten te betalen.

Vermoedelijk per 1 januari 2022, maar dat is afhankelijk van de goedkeuring van de Staten Generaal.
